Margaret Chin
Margaret Chin retired from the School District of Philadelphia after 38 years of service. Prior to her retirement, she was the principal at Southwark School in South Philadelphia. She was among the first Asian Americans who held a high-level position at the School District. Ms. Chin is also a highly respected leader in the Asian community, serving for multiple terms as President of the Asian American Educators and former President of the Asian American Women’s Coalition. She currently serves as Chair of Philadelphia Chinatown Development Corporation, member of the Schoolmen’s Club of Philadelphia, and Trustee of the Christopher Ludwick Foundation.
