Celebrate and support the Independence Library of the Free Library of Philadelphia’s
InTEEpendence Fundraiser The Independence Library will be transformed into 18 “literacy links” on Friday evening and all day Saturday, September 16th and 17th. Play mini-golf amid the book stacks. The proceeds from this event directly support the programs and services at the Independence Library. You are invited to sponsor a tee, a green, an entire hole or even the front or back nine. This is a great way to promote your business or professional service to the community you serve. Sponsors’ names will be prominently displayed along the mini-golf course and on promotional material. Be sure to check out the great sponsor benefits! You can sign up on line at www.freelibrary.org/minigolf or you can fill out and return the sponsorship form. All money raised will support continued valuable programming—including our annual bilingual children’s Chinese New Year celebration—as well as capital improvements that ensure the diverse community surrounding the library gets the library experience it needs and deserves.
