This year's program will highlight special presentations from local Filipino organizations who are encouraged to express the meaning of Filipino American History Month. As many of you know, the Filipino American National Historical Society - a national network of 28 chapters founded in 1982 -- initiated the observance of October as Filipino American History Month some years ago.
